Project #3 check! This was our surreal "use your imagination" project. The only stipulations was it had to be surreal and it had to be mostly about the drawing but the color was to be watercolor.

My theme was about roll reversal and the literal leopard changing his spots........ with a zebra. I could have put a ton of captions above both of their heads and thought it was pretty funny.

To further smack you with the bricks even harder the serene African Sunset is interrupted by a very angry tree.

I am opposed to deforestation but I don't want to repulse or make a viewer uncomfortable with that underlying message. If they look away in disgust where does the message go? Besides I thought it was time some trees kicked ass.

This is all about fighting rolls we have been lumped in to because I am not the average housewife and I can't help but think we all need to look a little closer.

Don't get me wrong, the zeopard still looks pretty hungry but you have to decide how it ends. What does happen when the shoe is literally on the other foot?
