I registered for classes at DeAnza College this morning.

It has got to get better than this, don't you think?

To all my artistic friends and family out there, I aspire to find my way as all of you have done. Denise, Sylvia, Tegan, Russ, Brian, Mark, James and my loving and supportive husband Ian are just a few that I owe thanks for the inspiration.

So I am officially a part time student. I am starting with a basic drawing class (Mon., Wed. morning) that is a prereq. for acrylic courses. I also enrolled in a photography class (Tue. till 2pm).

Not huge news but it's all mine.

This was our day out on Thanksgiving (warm weather, US style). Crissy field is an old airfield that is now a very popular dog beach in San Francisco. What a way to kick off my favorite holiday season with my favorite person and dog.

Open For Business

I have finally joined the world of the personal updates via pictures and stories about my life. This was taken so my friend Nirit could remember another Canadian friend. I put the camera on this lawn chair and took almost a dozen with the timer. We both finally got in the shot and Ripley didn't have that freaked "Not again, you really need a baby" look on her face.
